Dive into the magic of nature at Anam Cara with these nurturing Forest & Nature Immersion with Folklore around the Fire events.
We begin with a childlike exploration of the forest, indulging our senses and reconnecting with the abundant gifts that nature expresses, both through the forest life and through the miraculousness of ourselves. Playful, inspiring and creative we welcome in our oneness with nature and immerse deeper with a sensory mediation.
Following our relaxing adventure in the woods, around the fire there is a storytelling featuring local English Folklore, listen as we cook bread sticks the old fashioned way for our bread and jam treats!
Join us on one or multiple of these events to enjoy the extraordinary nature of nature!
Families welcome.

Camp at Anam Cara!
1st April to 30th September
(some dates excluded)

Transcend the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with nature at Anam Cara. We are surrounded by accessible forest and beautiful views. Anam Cara offers both wild camping in a level field sheltered by mature trees and Glamping options. Facilities are simple: a toilet and shower block, washing-up sinks and picnic tables, bring your torch! The Glamping option also includes access to the camp kitchen, hot tub and sauna.
Anam Cara is set within 10 leafy acres, which in turn lead into miles of public-access forest – just the job for stretching your legs and exercising any canines accompanying you to this dog-friendly spot. And of course, you can also immerse yourselves in the hiking and cycling options found on the undulating chalk escarpments of the South Downs National Park (10 minutes’ drive). Anam Cara is handily close to the pleasant market town of Haslemere (15 minutes), where you can source groceries and most essentials, or take your pick of pubs and restaurants if you fancy a big(ish) night out.
Hire a Glamping Tent in the beautiful exclusive Glamping Field around the Dragonfly Pool during the week* for £100 per night. This includes access to the Camp Kitchen, hot tub and sauna. Glamping Tents have two camp beds with bedding and space for two sleeping mats for children (bring your own),
